10. Stamford Bridge, London

The home ground of Chelsea Football Club, Stamford Bridge it’s situated in West London, and based in the middle of London, the stadium has a unique metropolitan feeling.  Build-in 1876, the stadium was used as an athletics ground, and by 1905, when Chelsea was founded, the stadium was converted into a football field. In 1990 the stadium went under overall makeover, which created 41,798 capacity seats. Moreover, plans have been made for further expansion and increasing the capacity of the seats to become one of the best stadiums in the World.

After building the brand new Stadio Delle Alpi for the World Cup in 1990, Juventus and also know as the “Old Lady ” moved to this amazing stadium. But instead of being the fortress for one of the biggest teams in Italy, there always has been the feeling that this stadium which also has been used for athletic competitions it’s far too big and it never gets fully sold out in terms of tickets.  With a capacity of 69,000 seats, the stadium was demolished in 2009, and on his place was build Allianz Stadium, a piece of art. So in 2014, as a reward of the well-finished job, the stadium was a host of Europa League Final and had been roaring success for the Old Lady of the Italian Football.

8. Allianz Arena, Munich

Another Allianz Arena but this time north of Italy. An amazing piece of art which was built in 2005 with a capacity of 69,901 seats and become the new home of Bayer Munich. The reason for building a new stadium was that the city Olympic Stadium had problems with the running tracks and was becoming outdated. So with the building of Allianz Arena, they created one of the most iconic stadiums of the 21st century with a shape of a beacon and with outside lights which could change their color and being seen from miles.

7.Johan Cruyff Arena, Amsterdam

The biggest stadium in the Netherlands was build between 1993 to 1996. The previous know as Amsterdam Arena stadium was renamed in honor of legendary Dutch footballer Johan Cruyff before the 2018-19 season. The capacity of the stadium its 54,990 seats for football matches, and during music concerts, it can reach up to 68,000 visitors. This iconic stadium has been the host of 1998 Uefa Champions League Final when Real Madrid defeated Juventus. Most recently, it has been the host of the UEFA Europa League when Chelsea defeated Benfica 2-1.

6. Anfield, Liverpool

The home of one of the most titled and one of the greatest teams of the world Liverpool was built in 1884 and ironically back then was home of the local rival Everton, but for most of its history, its been Liverpool’s stadium. After spending years of finding a new location for building a new stadium, the owners decided to stay in Anfield and renovate it. With one of the most popular stands in the world -Kop, Anfield its famous with the unique atmosphere which the home supporters create during their games. Build as a single-tier stand with 12,390 seats, which makes fans looking like one big red wall.

5. Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid

No player doesn’t want to play at Santiago Bernabeu, one of the greatest stadiums in the world. Home of the giant in world football Real Madrid was build in 1947 with the name Chanmartin and then in 1955 take the name of honoring their president by that time Santiago Bernabeu. With  85,454 seats, the Bernabeu is slightly smaller than their big rival Barcelona’s Camp Nou. With multiplies upgrades over the years, the stadium has grown even higher, with more tiers added.

3. Old Trafford, Manchester

The Theather of Dreams as it knows all around the world Old Trafford was build in 1909 as an all enclosed stadium with a capacity of 44,000 and by 2007 further development expend the capacity to 76,000 seats which makes it the biggest club ground in England and the second biggest stadium in England after Webley stadium. With such emblematic games played over the time at this stadium and with legendary players such as Sir Boby Charlton, Eric Cantona, George Best, David Beckham, and Cristiano Ronaldo making history at this ground, Old Trafford is one of the most iconic grounds around the globe.

2. Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund

Just below the top in second place its Signal Iduna Park, also know as Westfalenstadion, home of Borussia Dortmund, it is one of the most emblematic grounds in Germany and the World. Build-in 1974, with a capacity of 50,000 seats, was a relatively unmarkable stadium. Still, after Champions League success in 1997, the board of the club began an expansion that led to its capacity to increase to 81,359 plus the development of the South Stand terrace, also known as the ‘Yellow Wall.’ With a capacity of 24, 454 fans, the Yellow Wall ist the biggest terrace in Europa. With a modern stadium and with the unlimited support from their fans, Wesfalenstadion is an example of value and passion around the world, which attracts more people to become fans of this great team.

Opened in 2007 at the place of the old Webley with a capacity of 90,000 seats, it’s a second-biggest stadium in Europe after Barcelona’s Nou Camp. With a huge Arc above the stadium, Webley it’s visible for miles around London. Already a host of two Champions League finals, in 2011 and 2013, the stadium also will host the Final of Euro 2020. With its modern look, history, and facilities, Webley its one of the best stadiums in the world, so no wonder why this stadium it’s taking our first place in these incredible charts of iconic stadiums.
