Is Bruno Fernandes going to Manchester United this time? According to multiple sources, the Portugues midfielder is willing to make a move this transfer window. After the whole saga in the summer, linked with numerous clubs including United he chooses to stay at Sporting Lisbon by signing new four years contract deal. But it seems now that the midfielder is getting closer to the exit from Estadio Jose Alvalade.
In the past few days, there have been numerous rumours that United are reportedly in talks with the Portuguese club over a January move for the 25-year-old. But so far there are not any indications from both sides that this will happen.
When asked to provide an update on the transfer situation during the pre-Wolves presser on Tuesday, the Norwegian didn’t say much.
” I’ve got no transfer updates,” he said. “If we get something, we can tell you about, but we’ve got no news now.”
Solkjaer added: “We know we’ve got the resources. We’ve got the backing. If we need to go into the transfer market, we are still up there, so we are in a good place.”
There are two weeks left until January transfer windows close, so we will follow with interest what will happen in the remaining days.
